Junior League
Our Junior Team travelled to Gortlettragh on Sunday morning last for their second game of the 2005 League campaign. After a hard fought match the game ended in a draw on a scoreline of Glenfarne/Kilty 1-3, Gortlettragh 0-6. The team on the day was as follows: Padraig McGourty, Stephen Sweeney, Gerard Fee, Brendan Leonard, Sean Dolan, Daragh Keaney, Bartley Clancy, J.J McDermott, Jonathon Keaney, Michael Mitchell, David McDermott, Sean McManus, Sean A McDermott, Francis Dillon, Paul McDermott. Sub: Michael Leonard.

50/50 Monthly Draw
The monthly 50/50 Monthly Draw too place on Sunday night the 13 April in Ketty’s Bar. The winners were as follows:

• €160 Eilis McGourty, Lissinagroagh


• €80 John Gallagher, Creamery Road, Manorhamilton


• €30 Ann McCullough Mullawn;


• Bottle of Whiskey (Sponsored by Ann’s Laundrette, Manorhamilton) Damien Comiskey, Newtownmanor

Thanks to everyone who continues to support our draw. A big thank you to Terence and Susan for the sandwiches on the night and the use of their premises for the draw.

Disco
Thank you to everyone who supported our disco in the Castle Bar, Manorhamilton on Saturday night last. Thank you to Raymond O’Hagan and his Staff for their help on the night and for giving us the use of his premises to hold this event.

Senior Division 2 Fixtures – April 2005
The county board have release fixtures for Division 2 for the month of April. The following are details of the games that we will be involved in:

• Saturday April 9th v Sean O’Heslins in Aughawillan @ 6.30pm


• Saturday April 16th v Mohill in Glenfarne @ 6.30pm


• Sunday April 24th v Aughnasheelin in Aughnasheelin @ 2.30pm

Junior Division 6 Fixtures – April 2005
The county board have release fixtures for Division 6 for the month of April. The following are details of the games that we will be involved in:

• Sunday April 3rd v Aughavas in Glenfarne @12:00am


• Sunday April 17th v Drumreilly in Drumreilly @2.30pm


• Saturday 30th April v Leitrim Gaels in Kiltubrid @6.30pm

U-16
Well done to our U-16 team on their great win last Sunday. Please check the fixtures in this paper for details of the next game.

Minor Players
Minor players are reminded that there will be a number of games played over the Easter Holiday period. Details of these will be made known at training over the next few days.

Training
Senior and Junior Players are reminded that training takes place every Tuesday at 8pm and Friday at 9pm at Loughan House also at 11:30am on Sunday in the Park in Glenfarne in the event of there being no game.

Community
Our friends in the Glenfarne Development Group are holding a big night of entertainment on Easter Sunday night in the Rainbow Ballroom of Romance with dancing to Declan Nerney. Doors open at 10.30pm with dancing from 11.30pm to 1.30am. A full bar will available on the night. We urge all our members to go along and support this local event. Also congratulation to the Kiltyclogher Drama Festival on another great year for this long running event. May it continue to have many more years of success.

Junior League
Our Junior team got their Division 6 league campaign off to a good start with a hard fought win over Ballinamore on Sunday morning last in Glenfarne. A strong first half performance saw Glenfarne/Kilty lead 0-7 to 0-2 at half-time. However two goals by Ballinamore mid-way through the second half left the result hanging in the balance until the very end with Glenfarne Kilty hanging on for a one point win at the final whistle. The team on Sunday was as follows: Padraig McGourty, Stephen Sweeney, Gerard Fee, Brendan Leonard, Sean Dillon, Darragh Keaney, Sean Dolan, J J McDermott, Jonathon Keaney, Sean McManus, David McDermott, Michael Mitchell, Sean Clancy, Francis Dillon, and Bartley Clancy. Thanks to Ketty’s Bar, Glenfarne for the after match refreshments.

Monthly 50/50 Draw
The monthly 50/50 club draw takes place on this Sunday night 13th March in Ketty’s Bar Glenfarne. Tickets are available from all club members. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of this draw.

Minor and U-16 Training
Under 16 and Minor training will commence in the pitch on Wednesday 9th March at 5.30pm. All players are asked to be on time and on the field at 5.30pm sharp.

Disco
The club will be holding a disco in The Castle in Manorhamilton on Saturday night March 19th.

Social
Thanks to everyone who supported our club social in the Rainbow. A great night was had be all. A big thank you to Terence and his staff for providing the bar, to Jim and Assumpta Clancy and staff for supplying the food on the night and to The Quay Street Band and DJ Joe Keaney for supplying the entertainment. Thanks also to Ann O’Hagan for sponsoring a spot prize on the night. This prize will be given out as an extra prize at the next 50/50 monthly draw. A presentation was made to Philomena Burns former landlady of Burn’s Bar, Glenfarne in recognition of all her work on behalf of the club in providing after match refreshments for visiting teams as well as giving the use of her pub as a venue for many club fundraising events. Everyone at the club wishes Phil many happy years of retirement.

Championship 2005
The draws for the Masonite Senior Championship took place in Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday evening last. We have being place in Group 3 where we will face Drumrielly, Aughawillan, Mohill and Gortlettragh.

50/50 Draw
The next 50/50 draw will take place in Ketty’s bar, Glenfarne on the 13^th March. Thanks to all our supporters for their continued support of this draw.

Junior League
Our Division 6 Junior League team commences action this Sunday morning in Glenfarne with the opening round of the league versus Sean O’Heslins. Throw in for the game is 11.30am. We hope to see all our supporters in the park for the opening game of the season. Please check the fixtures in this paper for confirmation of the time.

Minor League
Our minor team is scheduled to play Eslin on this Saturday evening at 4pm in Eslin in the second round of the Minor League. Check fixtures in this paper for confirmation or contact Padraig McGourty on 086-8106431.
